Basic information about our city
20th - beginning of the 21st century. — a time of significant historical processes, powerful social, national and democratic revolutionary changes throughout the world. This is a consequence of the guiding action of the laws of the dialectic of social development.
National liberation movements were developing especially rapidly, colonial empires were disintegrating, new and new national states were emerging and are emerging on the world stage.
The objective regularity of the social development of peoples, the establishment of their national freedom and statehood, is carried out.
Numerous national liberation movements and uprisings, national revolutions in Ukraine ended mostly with defeats and huge losses of their brave participants and with the triumph of neighboring colonial states — age-old enemies of the national freedom of Ukrainians.
This is a characteristic feature of the history of the Ukrainian people, and it, this history, was falsified and silenced by the colonizers. Oleksandr Dovzhenko painfully wrote that Ukraine is the only country where its history is not studied in higher education, and the people are deprived of their past.
